Lately--

Making bread yeast out of apples, watching the water in glass pitchers change color according to daylight, enjoying my beautiful new chandeliers--
trying to stay away from grey days.

Listening as songs become quieter, to match the falling leaves and smoky air and all the autumn whispers that grow on the trees after everything else has fallen.

Soon we will all become whispers--
only a gleaming fragment of
who
we once were.

  1. Oh, Angelica. You say the most beautiful things. I have been trying to fight off the Autumn gloom, but I'm afraid it'll seep into my bones soon. Looking at your magical photographs always makes me feel better about everything.

  3. Dearest,
Your words moved me today, because they express the shadowy uncertain mood that I have been feeling lately. It has much beauty and darkness. I love your photos as always. How are you? I never got a letter back, unless you didn't find the time ( I competely understand, don't worry). But I just wanted to make sure that it didn't get lost in the mail.

    love,
    K
